Monotone Is Back With A Bang!

As far as trends go, they all come back one day! Exhibit A: the 90s choker that's making a statement comeback on everybody's necks, and exhibit 2: monotone dressing.

Monotone dressing has been in and out of fashion, especially in street style, and when skilfully worn, the style is perfect for any occasion. But we get it, pulling it off can be a bit intimidating if you're not a fashion blogger or a celebrity equipped with a stylist.

Here are some things to keep in mind to rock this look:

- Colour is obviously key. If you're a rookie, start with a neutral colour like black, black, or nude. If you want to do colour, try one that you're sure suits your skin tone - you don't want to look dull. Tip: pastels colours like baby pink, turquoise green and sky blue work amazingly well and are totally hot right now!

- This style is a great way to play around with texture because your colour is constant and your silhouette is simple. So for example, pair a regular T-shirt with a quilted skirt, both in the same colour.

- Keep layering and accessories to a minimum. If you want to do accessories, make sure they're not in the same colour (cringe)!

Now take some leaves of inspiration from below and go try the trend!
