Haute couture seems to be taking inspiration from the bedroom lately, and everybody's loving it! What's better than walking out in your PJs and killing the fashion scene at the same time? Spring 2016's runways saw the trend in full force – teddies, chemises and even full-on pajamas on the runways of Celine and Balenciaga.
Thing though, is that it takes a careful eye to take night clothes to boudoir elegance. Some things to keep in mind: a pajama top in silk or cotton is a chic alternative to a traditional button-down shirt, if you want to do a complete pajama set, silk is better option, and always make sure your shoes are dressier than slippers – sneakers or stilettos do it.
