How to manage my closet?

We only wear 20% of what we buy, 80% of the time. More often than not, this means that we don’t remember what or where 80% of our clothes are.

Wardrobes need tough love and that means we need to frequently unclutter and get organized. The best way to do this is to:

Sort by Category: tops, short and long dresses, skirts, shorts, work trousers, jeans etc. could all be colour coordinated. This will also make it easier for you to mix and match on a rushed morning.

Make Everything Visible: There are various tools you could use for this such as hangers for your long dresses and blouses, or hooks on the back of your closet door to hang scarves, belts or even chains. Small coordinators such as ring and bracelet holders are pretty useful for storing your accessories. Furthermore, you could use shoe racks to organize all your shoes according to their different types.

These are simple yet affordable tools and techniques, which could be implemented to revamp your whole wardrobe, help you dress better and save time.

The Magic Box: During the process of uncluttering your closet, what if you kept a box aside to keep piling all the things you don’t use any more?

When you’re ready, it takes only a couple of minutes to list everything in that box on Zapyle – and we’ll help turn everything you don’t use any more into cash!
